Get Your Concepts Right! series aims to address common misconceptions that pupils would have in their course of learning Primary Science.
When pupils first undergo formal Science education, the concepts taught are not totally new to them. They would have encountered some of these concepts in their daily lives. However, due to pupils' limited understanding of the world around them, these ideas and theories often may lead to misconceptions about scientific facts and concepts.
Makes science learning engaging and relevant
Scientific misconceptions are presented in an interesting story-like context through the use of comic strips. These can be used to generate active discussion about the concepts between teachers and pupils, parents and their children or among pupils themselves.
