When it comes to PSLE preparation, many parents want to give the best support to their children in helping them achieve academic success. In this series of workshops, we equip you with practical and effective strategies to manage exam preparation jitters. Our subject experts, who have more than 10 years of teaching experience, will delve into the curriculum topics of each subject to help parents understand outcomes of the national exam and key focus areas of the various subjects to be able to coach your children using effective learning strategies. 

In this Science workshop, parents will learn:

  • What the PSLE Science Paper entails
    • Exam syllabus and format
    • Types of questions in the Science paper and the skills assessed in each question type
    • What distinguishes an A and A* grade

  • Key trends in PSLE Science questions
    • Analysis of questions from previous Science papers and key focus areas
    • Questions that demand application of higher-order thinking skills and how to answer them
    • Non-routine questions and samples

  • Conditioning your child for PSLE Science

  • How to prepare your child for non-routine questions
    • Learning opportunities at home and outdoors
    • The power of journaling
    • Develop your child's critical thinking skills (how to give your child clues, not answers)
    • Answering techniques


  1. Materials and lunch will be provided
  2. The minimal class size to start a class is 20pax. If the no. of participants fall below the minimal class size, a full refund will be given to participants.
