Often, children who are extremely good in mathematics may be disengaged during maths lessons. What can be done to ensure that these advanced learners see the relevance in learning mathematics and continue to be enthusiastic in learning?
Enrichment (deepening understanding), extension (going beyond what is taught) and differentiation (varying tasks by level of understanding) are three ways to re-engage them. Which methods would you use, and when should you use them?
