ISMC – GLOBAL ROUND

This is a unique Maths competition based upon Singapore’s brand of Mathematics. It is open globally to all students who want to benchmark themselves against the performance of a cohort of Singapore students in the same age group.

ISSC - GLOBAL ROUND

The competition provides young learners with a platform to showcase their understanding and application of science concepts, aligned with Singapore’s primary Science syllabus. Through this competition, students develop critical thinking skills, scientific inquiry, and a deeper appreciation for real-world applications of Science.

This prestigious Math Olympiad competition invites students globally to compete in a concept competition that poses carefully curated questions on arithmetic, number theory, combinatorics, logic, geometry, measures and measurement, and algebra.

Registration for the 3 competitions closes on 23 June 2025, 5pm SGT

Awards & Prizes

Gold / Silver / Bronze Award

Top students will be awarded a Gold / Silver / Bronze award certificate.

Parents are not allowed inside the lecture theatre/training room when the students are in training or having their competition.

Parents may choose to sit and wait for the students around the area. Alternately, they can drop off the students during registration, and return again when the competition has concluded to pick them up.

A certificate of participation will be awarded to all other students.

Global Champion

The top student of the competition will be awarded a trophy.

Top Territory Winners

Top winners from each participating country will be awarded a tropy.

We are working with a tour agency that will bring the students as well as parents who signed up on a guided cultural tour to different parts of Singapore.

All remaining contestants will be awarded a medal.

A certificate of participation will be awarded to all students.

I’m interested! How do I sign up?

You can simply add to cart and complete payment before 23 June 2025.

Can we use calculators for the competition?

ISMC – Calculators are only allowed for Grade 5 & 6 students. Grades 2-4 students are NOT allowed to use calculators for this competition.

Mathlympics – Calculators are NOT allowed for the competition.

What does the competition entry fee covers?

The one-time competition entry fee entitles the participant to gain access to our ISMC, ISSC and/or Global Mathlympics competition, training, and related resources.

It does not include the participant's personal travel expenses such as flight, accommodation, travel insurance and shopping. All participants are required to make their own travel arrangement for this competition.

Which grade level should I select upon registration?

You can select the same grade level that you were in for the Regional Round.

Will I be penalised for a wrong answer?

No. Points will not be deducted for a wrong answer.

If my child is registered for only 1 competition, will he/she need to attend all 3 days of the event?

Students will only need to attend the day(s) of the competition(s) that they registered for and take part in the activities and award ceremony on the third day (6 July).

Can I accompany my child for the training and competition?

Parents are not allowed inside the lecture theatre/training room when the students are in training or having their competition.

Parents may choose to sit and wait for the students around the area. Alternately, they can drop off the students during registration, and return again when the competition has concluded to pick them up.

Do you have a recommended hotel?

We recommend any hotels in the central region of Singapore that are located near an MRT station.

Is an accompanying adult a mandatory requirement for this event?

All participating students are encouraged to travel with adult company. We recommend either a participating school’s teacher or their respective parents to accompany the students. However, it will not be a mandatory requirement.

As an accompanying adult, can I join the event?

Parents and teachers are not allowed to sit in for the training and competition on 4-5 Jul 2025. However, we welcome you to join us for our lunch and awards ceremony on 6 Jul 2025.

As an accompanying adult, can I join the guided tour?

Yes, you can join the guided tour on 6 Jul 2025 at a fee of SGD 30 per pax. Simply include the add-on guided tour option during check out.

Can I meet my child during the lunch break or bring them out for lunch?

Parents will be allowed to meet the students during their lunch break.

Parents can also bring them out for lunch but will need to bring them back to the venue by 2.30pm to prepare for the competition.

  2. All information shared to us will follow Marshall Cavendish Education's data protection and privacy statements.
  3. By participating in this physical competition, I understand that there will be photographs and videos taken at the event, and MCE has the right to edit and use the assets for media publicity including use in print, broadcast and online.
  4. The registration / competition fee is non-refundable or exchangeable for products or services.
  5. Winners will be selected by the Organiser's panel of judges and the decision is final.
  6. The prize is as stated and is non-transferable and not-for-sale. No cash alternatives will be offered. If due to circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control, the Organiser is unable to provide the stated prize or any part thereof, the Organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value, to be determined at the Organisers’ sole discretion.
  7. The Organiser reserves the rights to amend the terms and conditions without prior notice.
