About the Conference

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has had a major impact in education. When ChatGPT was first launched in November 2022, it took the world by storm and disrupted the education industry. With more than 100 million users, ChatGPT has become a new tool for teaching and learning such as improving learner’s writing proficiency.

AI has the potential to address the challenges in education and innovate learning and teaching practices. Educators and learners should embrace AI as a technology to create personalised learning experiences.

The vision for AI in Education is where both machines and educators can work together to drive better outcomes for students. As learners will eventually use AI, it is important that they build understanding through exposure. So, how can AI drive innovation to transform education?

At the MCE Global Conference, we will explore:

Our Speakers

Norhuda Musa

Dr. Norhuda Musa

Norhuda Musa (Huda) obtained the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Mathematics Education) from Curtin University, Western Australia in 2014 and Master in Education (Mathematics Education) from Nanyang Technological University/ National Institute of Education, Singapore in 2008.

Dr. Huda has over 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics in a Singapore school and has been actively championing the use of current mathematics practices in Singapore schools and sharing these practices to teachers locally and internationally. She has presented, on several occasions, at World Association of Lesson Study (WALS) and Mathematics Education Research Group of Australasia (MERGA) and conducted training workshops to teachers and school leaders across Asia. Through her sharing, she aims to equip teachers with good mathematical teaching skills, hence empowering them to deliver impactful lessons in their classrooms, thus bringing out the potential in every child.

Dr Sulin

Dr. Sulin

Dr. Sulin has been in the forefront of education for more than a decade. She has a PhD in education and is also an experienced Math and Science teacher, writer and trainer. Her track record included looking into best practices in building efficient and effective education systems, professional development of educators, curriculum review and pedagogy innovation to bring about student-centric education. 

She has conducted many workshops in the teaching and learning of Math and Science to educators locally and internationally to promote more purposeful and engaging learning. She is also a resource person to schools in the region where she works closely with in areas of professional development, redesigning of curriculum and innovation of pedagogy in Math and Science. 

Celina Lee

Ms. Celina Lee

Celina holds a Diploma in Education from National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with Communication from Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS).

She has five years of experience as a trained teacher in a top school in the Ministry of Education (MOE), Singapore. She also has an additional experience in International School with IB and Cambridge Curriculum. Currently, she works in Marshall Cavendish Education conducting teacher trainings and pursuing her endeavours in education.
