Today, beyond academic success, creating a sustainable education network around the world is imperative to ensure that future generations have the opportunity to excel.
UNESCO launched the
Education for Sustainable Development in an effort to overcome key sustainable development issues into teaching and learning, such as, climate change, disaster risk reduction, biodiversity, poverty reduction, and sustainable consumption.
In our journey to ignite the joy of learning, we realized that the journey of every student, teacher and school is different and if gaps in the educational landscapes are not addressed, students and teachers are not able to receive the right skills and knowledge that would prepare them for the 21st century. It is vital that key stakeholders look into the right strategies and resources to ensure every child has the opportunity for lifelong learning.
