Throughout the 60 years that Marshall Cavendish Education has strived to provide education solutions, we have understood the elements for an effective education. Today, beyond academic success, creating a sustainable education network around the world is imperative to ensure that future generations have the opportunity to excel.
UNESCO launched the Education for Sustainable Development in an effort to overcome key sustainable development issues into teaching and learning, such as, climate change, disaster risk reduction, biodiversity, poverty reduction, and sustainable consumption.
In our journey to ignite the joy of learning, we realized that the journey of every student, teacher and school is different and if gaps in the educational landscapes are not addressed, students and teachers are not able to receive the right skills and knowledge that would prepare them for the 21st century. It is vital that key stakeholders look into the right strategies and resources to ensure every child has the opportunity for lifelong learning.

We believe that turning the page to a sustainable education network begins with the easiest of steps. A book. With each community, teaching and learning takes a unique form. Digital resources help elevate classroom experiences and mapping a student’s journey, yet books form the foundation that brings the most comfort and familiarity to students and teachers.
It is also through books that we're able to provide an accessible and sustainable way to ensure learners understand not only fundamental learning but also expose learners to real-world scenarios. This ensures that communities are able to build learning practices that can stand against environmental and socio-economical adversaries.

Creating a sustainable education network

Turning the Page focuses on creating sustainable initiatives to improve opportunities for students to learn new content and share knowledge that they know. It’s a movement that encourages schools, communities and even homes to share the reading materials that they have already learned to someone else.

Creating your own Turning the Page Space

Here are the key steps to be a part of the campaign.

Step 1: Identify a space in your school or office to become your Turning the Page corner.

Step 2: Prepare a large box to collect books and reading materials.

Step 3: Download our label template and label the box.

Step 4: Students, teachers and parents can share or donate their loved reading materials.

Step 5: Collaborate with local non-profits or community centers to donate books to those in need. These donations enable communities and families to access new books and stories.

Be a part of the Turning the Page community

Join us by starting your own space or partnering as a non-profit to support communities in need. Our partners, like World Vision, work tirelessly to ensure equal opportunities for success.

Let's build our network and turn the page to sustainable education.
