This webinar series aims to spark meaningful conversations that connect educational research with everyday teaching and learning. By spotlighting timely themes and insights from SingTeach, the series provides educators, parents and the wider public with practical knowledge and fresh perspectives to navigate complex issues in education. Through accessible, research-informed dialogues, it seeks to empower participants to engage critically with ideas, apply new strategies in their contexts and contribute to a more equitable and inclusive education landscape.
The session highlights the importance of student well-being through the science of learning. The conversation will delve into the importance of understanding how a child's well-being can positively or negatively affect their overall learning and development and the right strategies.

Dr Teo 1

Dr Wei-Peng Teo
Dr Wei-Peng Teo graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Ph.D. (Medicine) in 2014 and has since held several lecturing appointments at various Australian universities such as Edith Cowan University, Central Queensland University and Deakin University, before joining the National Institute of Education, NTU in 2018. Dr Teo’s research focuses on understanding the mechanisms that underpin motor control and learning across the lifespan and in diseased populations.

Ms Debika Chatterji

Ms Debika is a veteran school leader with more than 20 years of teaching experience. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Education and a Master's degree in History. Her experience culminates across both local and international curriculums.
