Dr Lambert will outline the challenges facing schools, school leaders and teachers arising from rapid Global shifts; and how these changes are challenging conventional schooling models, have the potential to result in increasing student disengagement and disrupt long-held views of the purpose of schooling. Such conditions require leadership qualities that are transformational rather than reactionary. Dr Lambert will outline these characteristics, what they look like in practice and how school leaders can develop these characteristics to ensure their schools, teachers and students not only survive but thrive.
