Singapore, 11 April 2025 – Marshall Cavendish Education (MCE) clinched the Gold Award for Best PR Campaign for a Specific Audience at the Marketing Interactive PR Awards 2025.
MCE received the accolade for its campaign, MCE in Central Asia. The campaign focused on PR efforts within the region since 2024 and took to life media relations, communication efforts, and tactical execution across various mediums, which led to significant press coverage and successful segmented messaging tailored to media. The award highlights how effective strategic communication can bridge gaps in new territories and reflect the collaborative spirit of nations.
MCE and its partners in Central Asia collaborated to organise conferences and events to launch its partnership to not only utilise MCE’s educational solutions but also train its educators based on 21st-century competencies under the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). The event saw hundreds of attendees from the region and the attendance of distinguished leaders such as First Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, Her Excellency Saida Shavkatovna Mirziyoyeva, Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Her Excellency Umarova Khilola Uktamovna and Deputy Prime Minister in Government of Kyrgyz Republic, His Excellency Edil Baisalov.
State media and industry events also played a key role in Kazakhstan as its national event Digital Kazakhstan was televised nationwide and over 2500 attendees were present, including the Akim of Almaty, His Excellency Yerbolat Dosayev.
Regional state media and social platforms covered the events and training programmes significantly with a distribution that saw coverage from Russia, Australia and Pakistan.

The event and training were also shared on the ministries’ social channels, which garnered more than 30,000 views for each post.
The Marketing Interactive PR Awards 2025 was held at Shangri La Hotel Singapore and saw entries from Asia and diverse industries such as healthcare, food and beverage, aviation, banking and finance.
