Singapore, Singapore – Singapore’s Marshall Cavendish Education (MCE) and Institute for Adult Learning Singapore (IAL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate efforts in raising awareness on the importance of adult learning globally. The MoU stands as a starting point for the partnership to utilise thought leadership and shared learning in adult education, skills development, and workforce development.
The collaboration will jointly curate and present co-branded knowledge-sharing initiatives, such as webinars and podcasts, to showcase collective expertise, strengthen sector influence, and promote lifelong learning that will be shared on MCE’s podcast channel, The Teaching Point.
Both partners will share a curated portfolio of adult learning courses for potential joint endorsement and promotion of programmes that align with market needs and the strategic priority of both parties. This will include existing platforms, networks, and channels to maximise audience reach, enhance awareness, engagement, and participation in jointly supported courses/programmes.
“Lifelong learning is a critical aspect that MCE considers when creating sustainable education solutions. Beyond mid-career switches, key institutions and education solutions providers have ramped up their efforts in ensuring the educational life cycle includes consistent opportunities for adults to learn new skills and knowledge to ensure that they are ready for the ever-changing working environment and have been moulded as future-ready learners.” Lim Soon Jinn, Head of Marshall Cavendish Education.
The signing ceremony had taken place during the IAL’s Learning Enterprise Alliance Awards 2026 on 10 April 2026.
